When I talk to Chiropractors the top problem is, they don’t know who they’re an ideal client is, what’s commonly known as ‘avatar’.
This means Chiropractors do not have a clear understanding of exactly the type of clients they actually want in their practices.
And if you don’t have a clear picture, these clients won’t turn up!

Chiropractors often fear to get specific about their ideal client, thinking that this may exclude all the rest.
Let’s face it, when you’re starting out you need every client you can get, right?
Well actually wrong!
This is faulty thinking.
Getting clear on your ideal client gives the universe a clear message to bring you more however, this DOES NOT exclude all the rest. They will still come it’s just over time, you’ll get more of who you want, and this then naturally leaves less appointment space for the rest.
I recall thinking, ‘why am I feeling so irritated and challenged by my clients?
I understand what I want to say to my clients however, the same type of client keeps turning up, the one’s I don’t want.
And this gets compounded as they refer others who are just like them?
Here are 3 ways you can get started on your ideal client avatar:
- Think about your best client ever. Your #1. Think about their characteristics.
- Now identify specifics: where do they live, where do they work, how many kids they have, how much do they earn, do they private health, etc. This will help give your avatar context.
- Put this together in the first-person narrative, e.g. ‘I’m a 25yo male, living in Richmond, I work as an I.T. guy and earn 100k pa… ‘You get the idea…
They say clarity leads to power. The clearer you are, the more detailed you are, the more likely your ideal clients will show up.
